As a Colorado based business that is passed from Master to Apprentice, we have a cumulative 50+ years of experience within our chainmail jewelry craft! We have been in business under different masters long enough now to see our pieces passed down in families. It's such an honor to see the longevity and such love, in our items.

We are a small business made up of friendships, hard work, and pure creativity. We are so excited every time this number grows as it means our chainmail family is getting a little bigger!

2 Names....?

You read that right! Khatovar Chainmail is our original, legacy  business name. We will continue to bare this name at the Colorado Renaissance Festival, but outside of that we have rebranded to A Link Above! As we want to be a link above the rest, a household name for quality chainmail jewelry and armor pieces.

After joining the sales team in 2012, she found herself quickly climbing the ranks and became our first Sales Manager. In 2019, she started her apprenticeship. In 2025, Raven retired as Sales Manager and from handling our digital presence to embrace her next adventure in life.
